Kia ora and welcome to 2022

From February 8th 2022 we will have all of our students back on campus to start the School year.

As you are aware, 2022 may be a challenging year. The most important things are that:

  • If you are unwell, please get tested and stay home until you are well again. You will be able to access learning through Google Classroom when you feel well enough to work

  • If you have a positive Covid-19 test, DO NOT come to School. Please inform the School by calling the main reception on 09 6210050. It is essential that you follow all Ministry of Health guidelines to the letter

  • If you are a close-contact of a case and have been directed to isolate at home, please do so and also inform the School. Your teachers will provide learning for you through Google Classroom

If your teacher ends up running face-to-face live online lessons using Google Meet, please refer to this important information:

  • Your teachers will advise you of when they will be delivering live lessons (check your Blended Learning Template and Google Classroom banner for this information)

  • Teachers will deliver one live lesson per week for each class (but may offer more)

  • Live lessons will be scheduled during a period you normally have that class on your school timetable so that there are no clashes with your other subjects

  • The time of the live lesson should be advertised on your Google Classroom in the top banner and in the weekly Blended Learning Plan

  • Live lessons will be recorded so that you can watch them again later or watch them if you couldn't make it during its scheduled time

These lives lessons will be in addition to your independent use of the Blended Learning Framework posted to Google Classroom every Monday morning. You are still expected to work through your Blended Learning Templates for each class throughout the week.

All your learning is posted to your Google Classroom Stream page at the start of the week, using the Blended Learning Template (four coloured boxes with Remember, Learn, Do, Review).

If you have subject-specific questions about your learning, contact your teachers.

Remember to wash your hands regularly, ask others how they are doing and look after your health and wellbeing.

Our lovely counsellors are available via email, social media and phone.
